Kate Eveson - Artist
Having lived on a sheep farm for many years in the Ribble Valley, sheep have become the main theme of my work, in particular Scottish Blackface and Swaledales.
Textiles form the basis of my work which is sewn onto fabric either by hand or by machine and then painted once stretched. Many people ask me what the 'lines' mean, but i'll let you make up your own mind on that one!
I love to draw, paint, sculpt an will have a go at anything really. I studied Fine Art at St. Martin's College Lancaster and am currently studying for my MA in Fine Art at UCLAN. I live with my twins in the Ribble Valley.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me, I will be more than happy to answer them.
